2 patent for inventions of Xingtai Steel, 《A production method for ingot iron for nuclear power》and《A grade of deep drawing ingot iron and production method for high strength fasteners》, had been duly authorized by SIPO recently.
Ingot iron is important material in casting and gorging parts of nuclear power industry and always used for flux in steel making of nuclear power because of good characteristics, such as low carbon, low phosphorus, low sulphur and low aluminum. The patented method in《A production method for ingot iron for nuclear power》needn’t add equipment and other investment. It makes the most of existing equipment to do process combination which is according to metallurgical theory to control metallurgical progress of AOD furnace and LF-RH furnace reasonably and realize the goal of using common ore to produce advanced ingot iron and satisfy the requirement of molten casting ingot iron used for nuclear power industry.
The main characteristic of deep drawing ingot iron is soft and with good plasticity and not easy to crack after large deformation, which is widely used for suitcases, baby carriages, tables and chairs etc. The patented method in 《A grade of deep drawing ingot iron and production method for high strength fasteners》optimize the grade in many aspects, such as composition, control of inclusion, control of rolling and cooling, metallographic structure. They made process route according to existing equipment reasonably and developed ingot iron wire rod with high-strength which can reach 340±20Mpa.
