To further boost the combat effectiveness of primary-level Party organizations and deepen the study and education campaign on fostering a correct understanding of governance performance, the Organization Department of the CPC Committee of Xingtai Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. issued a circular on May 7 to make unified arrangements for Themed Party Day activities to be held on May 8. Centered on the theme “Unify Thinking, Consolidate Confidence, and Make New Achievements on Our Posts”, the activity targets all Party organizations at all levels and Party members and cadres across the company.

Per the arrangements, the activity consists of two major sessions: organized study and work deployment. All Party organizations will guide Party members to thoroughly study Excerpts from Xi Jinping’s Discussions on Establishing and Practicing a Correct Understanding of Governance Performance and other relevant important speeches, and convey the spirit of the expanded meeting of the company’s CPC Committee held in April.

In terms of work deployment, the circular requires Party organizations of all units to guide all employees to unify their thinking, bolster confidence and deliver new results from their respective posts. They shall intensify ideological and political work among staff, rally all employees to strive for stable production at the old plant and smooth construction of the new plant. Each Party branch shall adopt diverse forms to brief employees on the company’s production and operation situation and development prospects, helping them fully grasp the interdependent bond between the enterprise and its staff. Party cadres at all levels shall go deep into work teams and posts to conduct heart-to-heart talks, interpret relevant policies and ease ideological concerns. In cost reduction, efficiency improvement, product development and other key tasks, Party members and cadres shall take the lead in tackling difficulties to ensure stable operation of the old plant and steady progress of new plant construction.

The circular also stipulates that every Party member shall standardize their conduct in accordance with the Party Constitution, Party regulations and Party discipline, take proactive actions and shoulder responsibilities courageously. While guaranteeing project construction progress, all members shall fully safeguard the safe, stable and orderly operation of the old production base.

All-level Party organizations are required to earnestly organize and carry out the activities. Before May 14, they shall submit activity reports to the Organization Department of the CPC Committee for filing via the OA system, and complete relevant records in the Themed Party Day Activity Logbook and Party Branch Work Manual.

The Themed Party Day activity aims to further unify thinking and strengthen confidence, providing solid organizational support for stable production at the old plant and accelerated construction of the new plant.
